IPMA Certification

The Italian Project Management Academy’s system of Certification is accredited by the International Project Management Association to certify the Project Manager in accordance with the methods and procedures laid down by the IPMA.
The skills gained by the Project Manager in project management cover the whole of knowledge of the principles and methodologies, professional experience and personal attitude.
The IPMA Certification is based on the assessment of skills in Project Management activities relative to four professional categories:
Certified Projects Director (IPMA Level A):
is aimed at people who can manage large portfolios, projects or a program for multiple projects, it requires a very advanced level of knowledge and experience.
Certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA Level B):
is geared towards people who manage highly complex projects, often from other sub-projects managed by project managers.
Certified Project Manager (IPMA Level C)
Is aimed at people who can lead a project of limited complexity (or a sub project that is part of a complex project), demonstrating the equivalent level of experience and knowledge in Project Management.
Certified Project Manager Associate (IPMA Level D)
Is geared towards people who are able to apply their knowledge in Project Management to participate in a project with a sufficient level of skill or as a member of the Project Management Team.
