The PMI Rome Italy Chapter is a meeting point for businesses and academics in support of the Project Management discipline.

It was established in September 1997 by 35 enthusiasts from different companies and Italian universities at IAFE (now Eni Corporate University).

It now has over 610 members, of which 406 certified PMP, all from the most important Italian companies and organizations.

Its primary objectives are:

•    the recognition, promotion and protection of the profession of the Project Manager;

•   the development of skills through the dissemination of programs to support professional   Certification;

•    dissemination of the culture of project management through the sharing of knowledge and work experience;

•    Finally, it supports the mission and goals of PMI in Italy.
